One County, One Trade, One Standard
Fairfax Concrete Driveway Pros exists for a simple reason: most concrete failures in Fairfax County are not bad luck — they are bad ground work. Contractors pour on unprepared marine clay, skip the base, cut corners on thickness, and the slab pays for it within a few years. We started this company to pour driveways that do not do that.
We pour concrete driveways, patios, walkways, steps, and stamped concrete across Fairfax County — new installation, full replacement, extensions, repair, resurfacing, and sealing. We do not do roofing, siding, landscaping, or any other trade. Concrete is the whole business.
How We Work
- The base comes first. Excavation down past the topsoil, then a compacted crushed-stone base — 4 to 6 inches — between the clay and your slab. This is the part nobody sees and the part that matters most.
- The right mix. 4,000 PSI air-entrained concrete on every residential pour. The air bubbles give freezing water room to expand instead of cracking the slab.
- Controlled cracking. Control joints cut every 8 to 12 feet, so concrete cracks where we plan it instead of where it wants to.
- Water managed. Every slab is sloped to move water away from your house and garage — about a quarter inch per foot.
- Paperwork handled. Fairfax County and VDOT permits for apron and right-of-way work, HOA design compliance, all part of the job.
